I was expecting more in depth talks/details with how the issue with their name started, not that I’m not aware of what and who’s behind it, well - probably they’re unable to share it due to legalities, I understand that but yeah, can’t lie that I was expecting more. I’m a fan since WYAT era so I witness the entire Pagtatag! era, so probably the documentary didn’t really thug my heart or something.. I was expecting a tear-jerker scene considering the feedback/reviews from those who watched it first but nah. The scenes, we’ve already known about it. Most of the clips are shown on their Vlogs which aired/uploaded every Friday, nothing new and not something we’re not aware of (well,…

I'm not a fan of SB19. It's not that I don't like them or anything, I just haven't interacted with their music a whole lot, as I'm only just starting to appreciate the many kinds of pop music in Asia, including P-pop. I don't even know who the members are when I watched Pagtatag, the documentary chronicling SB19's 2023-2024 activities during the Pagtatag era. After watching the docu, I still don't know who is who, but I'll say this - it made me interested in their music.

The film is geared towards people who are already fans of the group, and thus (I guess) the filmmakers do not feel it necessary to introduce us to the group's members. The documentary…

    Langit, lupa
    Magsasama, basta ba maniwala

i remember becoming a fan of sb19 back when i was still pursuing my dream.

honestly, kilala ko na nga sila bago pa no'n e, nung pag-viral pa lang ng go up. but somehow, i wasn't that interested. i only became a fan three years later, because of my random discovery of what? i fell down the rabbit hole so quick, tatlong araw ata na sunod-sunod na puro nood lang ako ng content at performances nila. at nandito pa rin ako hanggang ngayon.

sabi nga ng iba eh: there's no such thing as being 'late' to stanning sb19, or regretting not joining their journey earlier. because they come into your life at the right…

It’s misleading for this to be even called a “documentary” as it fails to provide more information on any particular subject. This is merely a compilation of behind-the-scenes that’s better seen on YouTube.

Yung 500 pesos na pambili ng cinema ticket, mas mainam pa na ipunan na lang para makanuod ng concert nila.

It was a roller coaster ride! Mixed emotions indeed! The movie highlighted the significant events of SB19's experiences. It made me realize why I ended up as A'tin, why i'm here, why I stand with them why I belong to their movement. This documentary is a manifestation of a group's determination and dream, a team's unity and a fan's support and love! Thank you for this, and with this I will love you and be more dedicated to you and your goals. Mananatili, palagi, hanggang sa huli!

I am so proud of SB19. Panuorin niyo na if isa kayo sa napapanghinaan ng luob para maabot niyo yung mga pangarap niyo.

love SB19! napakatalentadong mga performers. this docu was just lacking, in so many aspects.

i feel like mas quality pa vlogs nila than this one. oh well, obvious naman na geared towards their fans yung docu. i guess this would've been magnified through the lens of the boys themselves.

masyadong maingay yung "fun" behind-the-scenes rather than addressing the issues they faced.

anywaaaay, this is still a nice way to introduce SB19 to spectators tho.

I expected more from this documentary.

If you are an avid fan of SB19, you most probably know almost everything that has happened to them and you may have watched some of their performances on YouTube - this film felt as if it was just a compilation of their performances and information you can find online.

You cannot see the rawness or the emotions of the members. There is no touch of relatability. They did not showcase what goes on behind closed doors.

It was just purely visuals and that's it.

Pagtatag is not necessarily bad BAD, I was able to watch it all throughout. However, I wished there could be more because this can also be an introductory media for those casual listeners to be converted into fans if they get to see SB19's personalities.

Watched it on premiere night and loved it (((as a hardcore a'tin))) even though it felt lacking.

Watched it for the second time and it felt more like a long Youtube vlog.

Read Goldwin Reviews' review on this documentary for a better explanation. Haha.

I’m a huge fan, but the docu was quite disappointing. It felt like their Vlogs but in bigger and longer format. I wanted more information on their name issue, pablo’s struggles on homesickness, viewers to understand what lola is, justin’s point of view as a creative ditector, more on ken’s pov. To be honest kay josh lang ako madami new learnings sa docu na to.

They have so much means of being informative but it lack thereof. Kaya nga docu eh.

Masaya sila nakita on the big screen. Nakaka proud. I had goosebumps sa first 5 seconds. But a docu should have a solid story. Pero they were on the safe side of the name issue - they should have exposed those mf. Ay joke lang.

But excited for the next era, mahalima. Habambuhay na support para sa inyo.

Pablo, before a performance, mutters that his hands are shaking. Could it be that he’s under pressure? He wonders aloud, his panicked eyes betraying what seems to be an ongoing anxiety attack. This moment, along with other up-close and intimate footage of SB19, is captured in Jed Regala’s documentary film SB19: PAGTATAG! The Documentary.

Viewers should not expect extensive concert footage. The film focuses solely on the behind-the-scenes of the SB19 PAGTATAG! World Tour, which spanned from mid-2023 to 2024 during the promotion of their titular EP, released in the summer of 2023.

With a strong cold open, Regala’s no-fuss documentary maintains a sharp focus on its subject: the emotional, mental, and spiritual states of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin amidst their fame and the demands of an..READ FULL REVIEW HERE.
